Overview

The following pages present the beginning of a new chapter in the life of Jog Road Baptist Church (JRBC). Though we have been involved in many fruitful mission ministry projects over the years, we have never had a church wide strategy for World Missions . . . until now!

Following the outline of Acts 1:8, we are establishing missions as the central part of our identity as a congregation. We believe God has called us to "make disciples of all people" (Matthew 28:18-20). From local to international projects, we want to be a church that truly has a heart for the world. As our light shines for Jesus to other countries, it will also begin to help us see how God is calling us to be more involved in local mission opportunities.

Lest we forget, we are the missionaries to our schools, to our work places and to our neighborhoods and friends. As we emphasize world missions, it is my prayer that we have a passionate walk with Christ that overflows with God's grace and love to those around us who need to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.

May God bless you and your family as you become a part of something greater than yourself. Our call is to be men and women who bring glory to God through the ministry and message of the Lord Jesus Christ.
